Day 91 ~ October 17, 2009
Today Lew and I drove to Columbus, GA to meet Eli! He is about 9 weeks old. We got to know and love his parents, Nathan and Jen, when they were stationed here. As you can see, Eli is a cutie! His momma is holding him, but he is 'talking' with Lew...the total blur in on the right side. :)

We went to eat at The Cannon. Neat decor and great food! They make their root beer and it was really great! I took one to go and then just a short ways up the street, lost my footing over an indentation in the sidewalk, shared the root beer with the sidewalk and ended up sprawled there myself! Major minus on the cool points. :) But Columbus, GA is a lovely town...lots of old, well-kept homes, and neat downtown area...as well as a riverwalk.
