Day 80

My favorite waterfalls of this trip....Mud Creek Falls. First it was absolutely gorgeous...lots of interesting water patterns. Second it was easy to get to and it was only about a mile from our condo. We went down for one last view before leaving and starting our trip to Kentucky. Then when we checked out, they told us that a couple had seen two bear cubs at this falls the day before!!! I asked if they got a picture....no, they just ran for their car. Can't say I blame them. Where there are bear cubs, a momma bear is close by with her eye on you! :)

We also went to the Dry Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls today. The Dry Falls had been closed when we were there over New Year's Eve, so we were really glad to see it. You had to walk down to it, but then you could walk behind the fallsand see it from the other side. A lot of water was pouring over that one! We had seen Bridal Veil Falls on our earlier visit so we just drove by. Then we went on into Franklin and went to the Buck's Cafe for coffee and hot chocolate.

We went to the Mountain Man BBQ place for pizza but we were too early, but that was ok. We just ordered BBQ and a ham/cheese sandwich instead.
