Day 78 - October 4, 2009
Today as we made our way to the mountains, we stopped in Clemson, SC for a too-quick visit with friends from our Hawaii assignment. Steve and Pam Ulosevich...my, we hadn't seen each other in about 21 years...since we left Hawaii in 1988. We met for lunch at Fatz and they graciously treated us to lunch. Then we went to their home for dessert which was also very yummy! What a lovely home! The setting is very peaceful and fun. We watched hummingbirds at the feeders outside the window.
It was so wonderful to catch up with them and to reiminsce too. What dear friends! I sure hope we get another chance to visit again soon!
We then went on to Sky Valley and checked into our room for the next 6 days. We pretty much just crashed that first night and got a long rest....aaaaahhhh. :)
